The 10th "Leica Cup" National Metallurgical Skills Competition for College Students, hosted by the Teaching Steering Committee of Materials for Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, was held at Shanghai Jiaotong University. Guangzhou University faculty and students from the School of Physics and Materials Sciences won one second place prize, two third place prizes and Excellent Instructor Award.
This competition attracted 1,109 players from 370 colleges and universities at a record high across the country to participate in.
