Guangzhou University, April 1, 2014:In the Sixth “Peak Time” National Business Simulation Competition, held in Shanghai from March 27 to 29, Guangzhou University Team was awarded the second prize, standing out from hundreds of competitors out of 60 universities.

It is known that this Competition is one of the largest international business simulation events in Europe, substantially recognized by numerous universities and enterprises and now upgraded to a global top platform contested by students from top business schools. It was introduced to China six years ago, aiming to create an effective forum for business students to acquaint themselves with business operation via simulation exercise, boost their creativity, originality, decision-making efficiency and enterprising ambition. The International Education Exchange Center of Chinese Education Ministry, in collaboration with CESIM Finland and Nimble Mind Marketing Consultancy Company, organized this national business carnival of 2014.
Our university was represented by Chen Haiyi, He Chujun from the School of Business Administration and Huang Xiaowen, Shen Pei from the School of Economic and Statistics, under the coaching of Professor Qin Longyi. The team demonstrated sophisticated proficiency in solving practical business problem, cooperating with teammates and adjusting to changing tasks, which impressed the judging panel composed of scholars, professors and senior business administrators.
