The Central Committee of the Communist Young League and China Young Volunteers Association released National Outstanding Individuals, Organizations and Projects. Young Volunteer Association of Guangzhou University (GZHU) won Outstanding Organization Award of China Young Volunteers.
A total of seven volunteer organizations won this award in the whole province, among which our Young Volunteer Association is the only college young volunteer association which was awarded this prize in Guangdong Province.
GZHU Young Volunteer Association has served to numerous large-scale competitions including the Asian Games, Games for University Students, and National Minority Games. The number of its volunteers reached 230,000 and hundreds of media has reported about its activities.
