Representatives of San Francisco U.S. - China Exchange Council Visited GU
Guangzhou University, March.8th, 2012:Two Deputy Chairman of San Francisco U.S. - China Exchange Council, Professor Ge Bin and Ms. Wu Weina visited Guangzhou University.President Yu Jianshe, Vice President Chen Shuang and heads of relevant departments and schools of Guangzhou University received the delegation. And an MOU is signed for future cooperation and exchanges.
President Yu Jianshe extended a warm welcome to the two guests and gave a brief introduction of Guangzhou University. The participants had in-depth discussions and had reached initial agreement over the programs of exchange students, academic exchanges between Guangzhou University and universities in the US, training for the teachers and students as well as jointly organized academic meetings. Vice President Chen Shuang and Ms. Wu weina signed the MOU on behalf of the two parties.
San Francisco U.S. - China Exchange Council, also formerly known as San Francisco U.S-China Trade Association, was founded in the Metropolitan Region, San Francisco, aiming at promoting Sino-US friendly ties.It's an organization formed by people from all walks of life from China and United States who are committed in the Sino-US relations. The council is registered in California as a Non-profit organization and is recognized as one of the first Chinese government’s training channels in the US by State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
