The Ministry of Education has released the list of the winning programs of the 7th National Teaching Achievement Award in 2014. The program of “Problem-based Maths Teaching Theory and Practice in Secondary School” led by Professor Cao Guangfu from the School of Mathematics and Information Sciences won the second prize. This is the third successive time that our university has won this award.
As a national award affirmed by the State Council, this award is granted every four years. It is the only national award in the area of teaching, aimed at rewarding the original, practical and exemplary educational and teaching achievements on talent cultivation mode, curriculum system, teaching content as well as teaching management. It also functions as a platform to review and showcase the achievements in educational reforms and talent cultivation of schools of different levels.
