Qiu Yanxuan, undergraduate of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won the 9th Chinese adolescent Science and Technology Innovation Award, becoming the fourth student in Guangzhou University win this award.
The 9th Chinese adolescent Science and Technology Innovation Award was launched by Communist Youth League Center, China Youth Federation, the National Association of Students and China Young Pioneers National Working Commission with the theme of “My Chinese dream”. Students from different school were selected according to their performance and potential. The award is aimed at cherishing the memory of Deng Xiaoping and encouraging teenagers to discover their innovative talent.
Qiu Yanxuan, a graduate from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Guangzhou University and now is a postgraduate student majoring in Inorganic Chemistry, has published 7 English papers in international journals. Besides, she won second prize and first prize of the 12th and 13th Competitionof National College Academic Work of Science and Technology.
The three students to win innovation awards in the 2nd, the 4th and the 7th Competition of National College Academic Works of science and technology are Feng Guiming, Lu Jieshan and Lin Jiaomin.
