On April 13, Guangzhou University signed the agreement on Collaborative Innovation Centre of Machinery Key Parts with Tsinghua University and Guangzhou Machinery Research Institute co., LTD. Professor Zou Cairong, President of Guangzhou University, Professor Wang Yuming, academician of the Engineering Academy of China academician, Mr. Huang Xing, Director and chairman of Guangzhou Machinery Research Institute co., LTD, signed the agreement on behalf of the three parties.
According to the agreement, both universities will take advantage of their strengths to develop a series researches on key techniques, which will improve our international competiveness in developing mechanical equipment. The collaborative innovation center is an opportunity to support construction and development of the research on mechanics in Guangzhou University.
After the signing ceremony, academician Wang Yuming visited the Experiment Center, Analysis and Test center, Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, Automation Laboratory of Guangzhou university and had a workshop with faculty of the Department of mechanics.
