Our Students Won the First Prize in the National Competition of Red Tourist Route Design

On September 27, the Fourth National Competition of Red Tourist Route Design was held inTongchuan, Shanxi. Our "pioneer team", formed by Liu Duona, Liang Yuhua, Zhang Wenhong, Zhang Lu from Tourism School, won the First Prize in the contest. Liu Douna was awarded the title of “hit player” and her coach, Wu Shuitian, vice Dean of Tourism School, commended as “Excellent Coach”.

This competition, bearing the theme of “inheriting the past tradition while embracing meaningful prospect”, aimed to ignite the patriotic passion in college students, lead them to study in-depth our glorious revolution history, witness the progress in economy, culture, society, and ecosystem owing to the policy of reform and opening up. Competitors were required to design, demonstrate and lecture onhigh-qualityredtouristroutes covering places like Hainan,Nanjing, Yan'an, Tongchuan from perspectives of tourism, finance, marketing strategies. Those routes are expected to be adopted by travel agencies.
