Guangzhou University, May 5, 2012:The First SYB Training of Guangzhou University kicks off on the evening of May 4th. It is hosted by Guangzhou Haizhu Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and co-hosted by Guangdong Hai Zhi Zhu Vocational Training School as well as the Enrollment and Employment Department of GU. Leaders from the host organization attend the opening ceremony of the training together with 40 trainees from different majors in GU.
SYB( start your business) is the fundamental part of the SIYB(start and improve your business) series training course. It is developed by International Labor Organization of United Nations, with an aim to provide tailor-made training to small-and-medium enterprise owner candidates. The training is composed of “entrepreneur evaluation, market evaluation, corporate structure and HR management, labor law and policy, mock corporate operation”, helping trainees to foster their business ideas by professional training, market analysis, self-evaluation and so on.
SYB training is the key sub-program of the innovation programs for GU graduate employment. The training will help to promote graduate employment, inspire students to start their own business, equip potential business owners with business knowledge and skill, offer capacity-building for potential enterprises, and upgrade the effectiveness and efficiency of starting business.
