Confucius Institute at the University of Padua Holds Cultural Activities in Celebration of Chinese New Year 2020
In celebration of the Chinese New Year of 2020, Confucius Institute at the University of Padua held a series of cultural activities in the city of Padua and at the Venice Airport. These activities include Chinese folk music show, dragon and lion dance, and photography exhibitions. As a cultural embassador to the University of Padua and Italy, the Confucius Institute, which enables more Italian people to better understand China, well connnects the two countries and the two peoples .
Dr. Rosario Rizzuto, Rector of the University of Padua praises the Confucius Institute’s important role in enhancing Italian people’s understanding of Chinese culture. He believes the Belt and Road Initiative will strengthen cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
