On 6 January, 2025. A delegation led by Professor Sun Yanming, Vice President of Guangzhou University, paid an official visit to City University of Macau. Guangzhou University delegation was hosted by Professor Ip Kuai Peng, Vice Rector of City University of Macau and his colleagues at the university.
Representatives from the two sides had an in-depth discussion on areas such as the establishment of a joint scientific research platform on the Conservation Science of Cultural Heritage along the Belt and Road and collaborations on joint education programs and on faculty’s continuous professional developments.

The two universities, both located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) are also expected to carried out further close cooperation on hosting international conference and forum as well buttress cross-border research students cultivation.
