On October 30, the final of the "5th Guangzhou International Sister City University Alliance Urban Innovation Student Entrepreneurship Competition" (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") was held at Guangzhou University. Ouyang Qian, secretary of the CPC Guangzhou University Committee and chairman of the university council, attended the event and awarded prizes to the winning teams of both Chinese and international students. Professor Scott Bowman, President of Charles Darwin University, Janice Toh, Vice President of Tunku Abdul Rahman University Penang campus, and Professor Fu Jiyang, Vice President of Guangzhou University, observed the competition on-site.
This competition was hosted by the Secretariat of the Guangzhou International Sister City University Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") and organized by Guangzhou University. It combined both online and offline formats, with the offline venue set at Guangzhou University’s campus. Over 120 participants, including representatives from member universities, competition judges, main members of the finalist teams, faculty and students from various member universities, and representatives from various sectors of friendly cities, attended either online or on-site.
