From September 23 to 29, a delegation led by Vice President Zhang Qixue, visited partner universities in Spain and the Czech Republic upon invitation. They visited the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain, Thomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, the Comenius Institute in Prague, and participated in the unveiling ceremony of the "China Classroom" and "Intangible Cultural Heritage Guangxiu (Cantonese Embroidery) Institute" at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The visit aimed to further advance the development of the Alliance of Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities.
The delegation was also invited to visit the Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic and attend the reception celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the Czech Republic.
