Guangzhou University, November 7, 2013:With the result of TEM4 announced in October 2013, 100% of the Class 111 of Department of English Education of the School of Foreign Studies passed the TEM4. The Average score of Class 111 was 7.5 higher than that of the comprehensive universities and 10.6 points higher than that of the colleges nationwide.
It’s reported that since 2011, the School of Foreign Studies has been enhanced learning environment to promoting motivation of students. The organic integration of TEM4 Exam, English education, class vision activities, career planning and the learning environment is the solid foundation for Class 111 achievement.
In the Class Vision and Career Planning Design Competition, Class 111highlighted the class spirit, class development objectives and proposed action plan combined with their short-term, medium-term and long-term goals in the four-year study. Two years after entering the college, Class 111 developed in a comprehensive and steady way. As one of the first Model Classes, Class 111 persisted in morning reading sessions. Furthermore, they collectively passed Mandarin Proficiency Test and Computer Level 1 Test. One of the students in Class 111 won the National Scholarship, one won the Excellent Youth League Member of Guangzhou and 16 students were honored as Excellent Student and Excellent Student Cadre of Guangzhou University.
Students in Class 111 have fully realized there is a fierce competition in the job market for graduates majored in English Education. They will, as always, devote themselves to studying the fundamentals with the real practice and striving for better professional skills.
