At the invitation of Iran Mazandaran University and Iran Science, Research and Technology Department, Professor Yu Jianshe, secretary of the party committee, visit ed the above institutions between Oct. 27th and 29th . At the mean time, our school signed the memorandum of cooperation withIranMazandaranUniversityand reached a consensus on in-depth bilateral cooperation.
On Oct. 27th, Professor Yu and Professor Fakhroldin Asghari Aghmashhadi fromIranMazndaranUniversitycosigned the memorandum of cooperation. The officials from Iran Science, Research and Technology Department attended the signing ceremony. The content of memo included students’ exchange, scholar exchange visit, jointly hosting international meeting, cooperation on scientific research and co-cultivating doctoral candidates. Besides, Yu also promised to support MazandaranUniversityto establish Chinese specialty.
Amir Saeed Karmi, the Assistant Deputy Minister, in charge of international exchange affair, met with our delegation on Oct. 29th. Professor Yu showed great appreciation for this fruitful trip and commended their independent innovation spirit. Professor Yu also expressed the expectation on the long term cooperation withIranon educational communication dimension. Karmi extended a warm welcome to our delegation. He also demonstrated strong support in Chinese teaching, doctoral students cultivation,and Confucius Institute establishment.
