As stipulated in the 14th act of 2015, “Adjustment in Admission Ranking Concerning Six Canton Universities”, issued by the Education Bureau of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou University, as a whole, is promoted to the level of Key University and thus enjoys a privilege in admission. It is a significant milestone in our university’s development and fulfills the common ideal of numberless teachers and students.
Under the guidance of provincial and municipal government, Guangzhou University gradually uplifts itself to a renowned national higher education institution featuring with comprehensive academic strength and locality vantage. This transformation can fully justify our long-term efforts in talent cultivation, teaching reform and academic investment. The priority in candidate selection will further enhance our graduates’ competitiveness and lay a solid foundation for the strategic prospect of high-level university.
Four new specialties will be included in our new admission plan, which are Finance Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Elementary Education and the Internet of Things.
