The annual Campus Resources Expo of Wesleyan College held in the beginning of new school year highlighted the special cultural events and language courses introduction by the Wesleyan Confucius Institute.
The Campus Resources Expo, also known as the orientation week of Wesleyan College, is a grand event with full participation of faculty and students to introduce freshmen to the courses.
The booth of the Confucius Institute displayed the Four Treasures of the Study, paper cutting, embroidery, traditional frock in Qin and Tang dynasties, ect, that reflect the rich wisdom and the profound culture of China. The booth was not only a sensation among students but also highly recognized by the director of the Expo. The curriculum of the Confucius Institute on Chinese language and culture, which fall into three major categories with 20 credit course, non-credit course and cultural experience courses, was particularly popular, with many freshmen inquiring and registering.
The faculty of Confucius Institute, committed to promote the Chinese language and culture overseas is poised to offer courses with even higher quality and cultural events with unique themes in the coming semester.
