GZHUDelegation, led by vice-president Deng Chengming,visitedChosun University in Kwangju,South Korea and signedtwocooperationdocuments, in hopeofexpanding bilateraleducationalcooperation as well as to promotingcultural exchanges betweenthe two cities.

Found in 1946,Chosun Universitylater evolved intoa prestigious comprehensive universityin1953. Currently, this higher institutioncontains14 colleges, 7 graduate schools, andaccommodates23000 studentson campus.Ithas cultivated more than 150,000 graduates since its inception, who are now active in varioussocietalfields in South Korea. Chosun ranksamong the top 15 universitiesofSouth Korea.
During the visit, directorsfromthe two universities,in the prospect of initiatingintercollegiate cooperation, reached a consensus on establishingaplatform for exchange students, teaching staffand administrators. Deng Chengming,GZHU VicePresident,and Jin Shuzhong,Vice President of Chosun University, cosignedtwo papers,Agreement Framework on Joint Academic Exchange Between Guangzhou University and Chosun University, andExchange Memo of Exchanging Students Between Guangzhou University and Chosun University. After the meeting, GZHU delegation visitedtheirstudents’ dormitory, Central Library and the Electroacoustic Museum.
