Chairman of the Board of Hong Kong Utahloy Group Co. and His Family Visit GZHU

On November 18th, Mr. Zhang Chonglin, Chairman of the Board of Hong Kong Utahloy Group Co., together with his family, visited Guangzhou University(GZHU) at the invitation of GZHU Overseas Friendship Association. They were warmly received by a company of GZHU representatives headed by Professor Yu Jianshe, GZHU Party Committee Secretary, and Xu Junzhong, GZHU Vice President.

Professor Yu first extended heartfelt appreciation for their consistent support to our university and then briefed the guests about the latest development of GZHU.

Mr. Zhang Chonglin and his wife donated 20 million yuan to the former GZHU, which resulted in the establishment of “Utahloy Mansion” in early 1990s. Professor Yu hoped that Mr. Zhang and his wife could sustain their concern about the development of GZHU. He also invited the couple to assume the post of GZHU Board of Directors which is already under way. After the meeting, the couple invited Professor Yu to visit two Utahloy International Schools in Baiyun District and Zengcheng District respectively.

After the meeting, GZHU and Utahloy International Schools reached an initial agreement on cooperation.
