Confucius Institute at Padua University Builds a New Learning-exchanging Platform ---"Chinese-Italian Corner"

Recently, the Confucius Institute at Padua University and Padua Overseas Chinese students’ Union jointly hosted the first session of "Chinese--Italian Corner". More than 30 people from China and Italy participated in the activity, practicing spoken languages, sharing interesting stories about Chinese and Italian culture and getting to know each other better.

The participants included students of the Confucius Institute, local lovers of Chinese culture, exchange students from Guangzhou University and other Chinese students at Padua University. All of them were engaged enthusiastically in conversations on the same topic given in advance in a particular situation specially designed for the practice of language. After the activity, the Italian participants said that they were glad to have such an opportunity to improve their spoken Chinese and their understanding of China. It was reported that the Confucius Institute would hold this activity on a regular basis as a new platform for Chinese learning and cultural exchange between the two countries.
