Guangzhou University, June 12, 2014:Zhou Fulin, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the Earthquake Engineering Research & Test Center of Guangzhou University, was elected director of the Department of Civil Engineering, Water Conservancy and Architectural Engineering of CAE and became a member of the 6th presidium recently.
It’s known that the committee of the Department of Civil Engineering, Water Conservancy and Architectural Engineering of CAE is a standing leading organ, members of which are elected by all academicians of the department. Its main functions and missions include regularly holding committee meetings to discuss academic issues, co-opting of academicians and routine work as well as presiding assemblies of the department. There are 105 members in the Department of Civil Engineering, Water Conservancy and Architectural Engineering of CAE at present.
