Recently, Earthquake Engineering Research & Test Center (EERTC) of Guangzhou University (GU) signed cooperation agreement on recruiting visiting professors of University of Melbourne. Academician Zhou Fulin, Director of GU EERTC and all the faculty members attended the ceremony.
As a top-ranking research university, University of Melbourne is the first university to set up School of Engineering with a history of150 years whose courses related to Engineering in this university have been certificated by Australian Engineers Association.
During the ceremony, person in charge of the GU International Office introduced GU and issued certificate to Professor Zhang Lihai on behalf of GU, a prominent professor in Infrastructural Projects Major of School of Engineering in University of Melbourne and one of the representatives of multidiscipline as well as members of numerous International Conferences. Academician Zhou briefed Civil Engineering and EERTC and signed cooperation agreement with Professor Zhang representing discipline of engineering. Professor Zhang introduced School of Engineering of University of Melbourne and gave a wonderful academic report.
