The latest article entitled "Enhancer transcription detected in the nascent transcriptomic landscape of bread wheat", which was completed by the Research Center of Molecular Genetics and Evolution of Guangzhou University (GZHU).
Professor Dong Zhicheng and Professor Zhang Yijing from Fudan University are the corresponding authors of the article. PhD student Xie Yilin and post-doctor Chen Yan and Li Zijuan are co-first authors. Dong Zhicheng's team established transcriptome of plant nascent RNA in Arabidopsis, soybean and wheat, which provided big data support for the research of RNA polymerase II-mediated transcription of protein coding genes and non-coding RNA genes.
