Guangzhou University Signs MoU with University of Warwick

Guangzhou University (GZHU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Warwick via video calls, for developing academic exchanges and cooperation in teaching and research.

On behalf of respective universities, GZHU President Wei Minghai and Stuart Croft, Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor and President signed the MoU. GZHU Vice-president Zhang Qixue and Guo Xingpeng as well as Warwick’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor Mike Shipman and Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor Sai Gu, attended the video conference.

Before the signing ceremony, the two sides discussed about cooperation in computer sciences, artificial intelligence, big data and cyberspace security. The two universities reached an initial consensus on stepping up collaboration with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and establishing research platforms with the Huangpu Research School of Guangzhou University.
