President of theAlumni Association of New York Visited GZHU

On the morning of October 24^th, President Yu Wenmin of the Alumni Association of New York visited Guangzhou University (GZHU). GZHU President Wei Minghai met the delegates.

President Wei gave the Alumni Association a Guangzhou University flag and introduced to the alumni the history of the university and its development in recent years, especially the achievements in developing the tier-one level university. He expressed gratitude to the overseas alumni for their support for promoting development of the university and he hoped that the alumni will continue to contribute to the development of the GZHU.

President Yu Wenmin felt proud of the development of her alma mater. She introduced the work of the Alumni Association and said she would continue to push forward the university’s development.
