Professor Zhang Jichao from the School of Civil Engineering of Guangzhou University received a letter from Dean of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RAEN) for congratulating Professor Zhang to be a foreign fellow of RAEN.
RAEN is the largest social science academy in Russia founded in 1990 by a number of well-known Russian scholars and scientific research institutions. Its members are scientists and experts who have made great achievements in natural science and humanities. The Academy currently has 24 academic departments with more than 4,000 academicians to include 18 Nobel Prize winners and more than 270 academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
