On the morning of November 12, the task force meeting of cooperation between Guangzhou and Macao was held in Macao. The meeting was co-sponsored by Guangzhou government and Macao Special Administrative Region. Professor QU Shaobing, Chairman of Guangzhou University (GZHU) Administration Committee, and Professor SONG Yonghua, Rector of the University of Macau, signed Memorandum of Understanding in Education, Science and Technology between Guangzhou University and the University of Macau.
The meeting covers 9 key cooperation areas including “Promoting Guangzhou-Macau Science and Technology Exchange and Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cooperation” and “Promoting Guangzhou-Macau Education Exchange and Cooperation”. As an important cooperation achievement of “Promoting Educational Exchanges and Cooperation between Guangzhou and Macao”, the two universities signed MOU and agreed to conduct joint research, faculty exchange, and student joint training and exchange visits.
