[11-04] GZHU Excels Itself in 2020 Rankings

U.S.News released the latest 2021 rankings of the world's best universities. Guangzhou University (GZHU) ranks the 706^th place in the world and 60^th among Chinese universities, 222 and 22 places respectively higher than the previous year. U.S.News also released the 2021 World University Rankings by Subject. The University has 4 subjects on the list, among which electrical and electronic engineering has entered the world's top 100. ShanghaiRanking Counsultancy released the 2020 Ranking of China's Best Subjects by ShanghaiRanking. A total of 28 GZHU’s disciplines are on the list, an increase of 12 disciplines compared to 2017. Such number ranks the 51^st place in the country and 5^th place in Guangdong Province. Among these 28 disciplines of GZHU, 9 disciplines are among the top 20% and cyberspace security is among the top 10% with the 4^th place in the country.
