International Conference on Smart Cities and Trusted Computing Held in Guangzhou

From November 12 to 15, the 2019 International Conference on Smart Cities and Trusted Computing was held in Guangzhou. More than 180 experts, scholars and business people from 20 countries and regions attended the conference. The conference was hosted by the School of Computer Science and Cyber Engineering of Guangzhou University.

The conference aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary experts, researchers, research teams, companies and government agencies to exchange innovative ideas and research findings. A total of 251 papers from around the world were submitted to the conference, among which 91 were read at the conference and published in Springer’s journals. More than 30 native and foreign well-known experts and scholars were invited to give speeches and the conference selected 5 best papers and conferred awards.

Special speeches were given by Professor Jie Wu from Temple University, Professor Geoffrey Fox from Indiana University, Professor Jiannong Cao from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Professor Sy-Yen Kuo from Taiwan University, Professor Wanlei Zhou from Sydney University of Technology and Director Richard from the University of Huddersfield.
