Delegation of University of Cincinnati Visit GU

On December 13, Dr. Raj Mehta, Deputy Academic Dean of University of Cincinnati, visited Guangzhou University (GU). GU President Wei Minghai and Vice-president Guo Xingpeng and other responsible persons held meeting with the delegates.

Set up in 1819, University of Cincinnati was one of the oldest public universities, ranking the 25th among all of the American public research universities and is among the top 5 percent 2500 universities worldwide.

This delegation includes Dr. Raj Mehta and representatives of the School of Arts and Sciences, School Business Administration and School of Planning and Design. During the meeting, President Wei introduced the basic information of GU and expressed the hope to cooperate with the University of Cincinnati in students exchange, scholars exchange, talents training and joint research.

Dr. Raj Mehta expressed the willingness to establish the comprehensive strategic partnership with GU from the President of the University of Cincinnati and promote exchange and collaboration in geoscience, planning and design, urban governance and business administration. The two sides reached a consensus on carrying out cooperative programs soon.
