Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Media Studies Center Established

On November 25, hosted by Guangzhou University (GU), Shih Hsin University and Hong Kong Baptist University, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Media Transformation Seminar and the first Lingnan Media Graduates Forum was hosted, which attracted more than 80 experts from recognized universities and research institutions to attend.

GU Vice-President Yu Xinwei addressed the plaque unveiling ceremony of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Media Studies Center, which was led by Professor Tian Qiusheng, Dean of School of Journalism and Communication. Then representatives of some of the universities gave lectures. In the afternoon, participants attended and made discussion in the six sub-forums.

This academic forum hosted by GU was a high-level conference based on local, social and economic development as well as the future of media industry.
