CIUP Hosts Chinese Food Culture Activity

    Confucius Institute of University of Padova (CIUP) hosted “Favor of the World” and “Chinese Food Cultural Activity”, which offered a Chinese food cultural feast for the participating Italians.    

    Lasting for three hours, the food cultural activity combined traditional Italian and Chinese styles, highly acclaimed by the participants.

    According to Italian dining habits, the activity was divided into three meals, the first two of which were cooked by Chinese cooks and the third one was made by CIUP teacher. During the activity, Dean of the CIUP introduced Chinese food culture especially the cuisine culture.

    After the activity, some participants said that they knew how to use chopsticks and others said that they knew where they could eat spicy food in China. The success of this activity not only gave an opportunity for Italian participants to try Chinese food and learn about Chinese food culture, but also enabled people to know more about CIUP.
