XIE Wen-feng, professor, supervisor of doctoral students, Deputy Director of the School of Science and Head of the University's Institute of Condensed State Physics. He is primarily engaged in teaching and research in the fields of Condensed State Physics. He has been in charge of two research projects financed by the Natural Sciences Gund, one research project supported by the Ministry of Education, two research projects financed by the Province's Natural Sciences Fund, one projet financed by the Province's "One Thousand, One Hundred and Ten Talents Project", one of the key research projects supported by the Municipal Fund for Exellent Tablents and three natural sciences projects financed by the Province's Commission of Education. Since 1996 he has had 62 research papers published of which 48 are recorded by the SCI and 10 by the EI.He si ranked tehth in the country in terms of the number of papers recordedby by the SCI. He was honored the title of the "May Day Medal" by the rovince.
