GUO Bo-ling, professor academician of the Chinese Academy of Science, supervisor of doctoral strdents, a well-known mathematician, member of the Discipline Assessment Group of the Natioan Natural Science Fund and special position professor of Guangzhou University. He has been primarilly engaged in research in the fields of Non-linear Mathematicl Analysis, Computatioonal Mathematics. His contrbutions to the construction and development of the nation'snuclear industry are of great signficance. He has had over 240 monographs and research papers published, been in charge of a number of national and ministry/commission's key research projects and been awarded one 2nd Class Prize for Research in Natural Science.
