DONG Shi-ming, professor, supervisor of doctoral students and Deputy Director of the School of Law. He has been engaged in teaching and research in the fieds of China's revolutionary history, Mao-Ze-dong Thoughts, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and relationships between the Communist Party of China and Nationalist Party as well as the Taiwan Issue. He has been in charge of and/or participated in 8 national research projects supported by the Natinoal Social Sciencse Fund and the Province's Social Sciences Fund. Professor DONG has so far had more than 60 research papaers and sixmonographs pulished. Fourteen of his research projects have been awarded prizes of a variety of types. Many times, hes has been nonored the titles of Advanced Worker and Excellent CPC Member. He is also the winner of the National Bao Gang Prize for Outstanding Teachers.
