CAI Xiao-yue, pofesor, supervisor of doctoral students and leader in the discipline of psychology. He is now a member of the School Psychological Science, a stadnding councillor of the Guangdong Provincial Society of Psychology, director of the Guangdong Provincial Society of Devollopmentsal Paychology. Engaged mainly in teaching of psychology and research in cognition, educational psychology, and cultural psychology, he has undertaken three national key research projects in pedagogy, two research projects in social sciences supportd respectively by the Ministry of Education and Guangdong Province, nd one key research projects supported by the Guangzhou Municipao Commission of Education. he has so far published 13 monographs, translations and textbooks, and over 50 academic papers and research reports .He has been wawrded two 2nd prizes for research inphilosophy an social sciences by Guangdong Province, one 1st prize for excellence in teaching research and one 1st prize and one 3rd prize for research in philosophy and social sciences by Guangzhou City.
