
The School of Information and lectro-mechanical Engineering focuses its
operation on Computer Scienca & Applied Technology, Information Management, Industrial Manufacturing & Automation, Electronic Industry, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering an d Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Attached to the School are the Computer Center and the AAdvanced Manufacturing Technology Institute. The School is staffed with 127 academics, and its student population totals 2,000. Of its staff, 45 are bearers of senior professional titles, 41 of senior professional titles and four of Ph.D. The School is equipped with 50 laboratories with a total of 1,200 computers and 1,200 stes/pieces of eperimental equipment. Its equipment, such as the coordinate measuring instrument, and its research in the area of CAD digital control remain in the forefront of the country. The School's staff has undertaken 60 provincial and municipal research projects and had over 400 research papers, and more than 30 textbooks or monographs published.
